Fermob · Made in France · supplied by CWDH
The Surprising rocking chair gives guest gardens, spa terraces and lounge areas a relaxed signature piece. A slim steel-wire frame carries curved steel slats, with natural solid teak armrests and rockers that soften the look and stand up to daily outdoor use.
At 8.3 kg it is easy for staff to reposition, and the anti-corrosion treatment and UV-resistant coating keep it looking sharp season after season. Pair with Fermob cushions for a premium lounge feel.
Match it with the Surprising low armchair, footrest and 90 × 60 cm table in the same colour for a complete lounge corner.
Made to order by Fermob – lead time is 5–9 weeks, so order early for a seasonal opening or refurbishment. Popular colours can sell out and may need to be restocked. Project quantities and quotes: info@customwooddesigns.ie
Can the Surprising rocking chair stay outside all year?
Yes. The steel frame has Fermob's anti-corrosion treatment and UV-resistant coating; the teak parts weather naturally to a silver-grey unless oiled.
Does it need assembly?
Minimal – the rockers attach in minutes with the supplied fixings.
Is a cushion included?
No. Fermob Bouquet Sauvage and Évasion cushions are sold separately.
Fermob is a furniture factory in France, and every piece is made to order in your chosen colour. Please allow 5–9 weeks for delivery and plan your terrace or fit-out early, especially ahead of the spring and summer season. CWDH will confirm the estimated delivery date with your order.
