Mepra was founded in 1947 by the Prandelli brothers inLumezzane in the heart of northern Italy. A few years after its foundation, Mepra became the first company in Italy to produce cookware made of 18/10 stainless steel, and in 1953, on thethe wave of enormous success of its products, the company decided to focus all its production on stainless steel cutlery.
